This is one of the illustration I'm working on for a celebratory contest promoted by Bologna Children's Book Fair about the work of Gianni Rodari who was the most important writer of Italian children's literature. I'll soon post the coloured version.

It was my first engagement

This is the cover I made for my first engagement many years ago; a French grammar practice book for Italian school. Besides the cover I also made about 2.000 little coloured illustrations.
Each chapter begins with one or two comic style page.
