Uncles are almost always bad, wicked, and trecherous guys in children's tales. I want a kind, sensitive, and maybe a bit clumsy uncle. I want he is an inventor, at least at my present intentions.
One last thing: I think there is a more familiar term to call uncles, like daddy for father, but I don't know that. HELP! Thank you!

I liked Fred's suggestion of "Unc," but you might consider another language.
Google translates "Kind Uncle" to "Tipo Tio" in Portugese -- which sounds a little eccentric in English but also childlike. :)
